2011, Acrylic on canvas, 24×36″

Sky puzzle pieces rendered in soft shades of blue on the front. The back includes a secret, second painting. I was working on an easel outdoors and left the painting out overnight. In the morning it was face down on the patio. Much to my surprise, a racoon with muddy paws left indelible paw prints, so it’s two paintings by two species for the price of one. A contemporary, realistic still life that will look lovely in a children’s room, puzzle enthusiasts home or library.
